‘Tender’ brings together 60 non-fiction stories I’ve written, mostly over the last five years. They have previously been published in Australian magazines and newspapers but here they appear in themed chapters – all in one lovely-to-hold-in-your-hand book. Chapter headings include Non-anxious presence, Neighbourhood, Oscar-the-ten-dollar-dog, Death and Sorrow, Creatures and Creation, Shining.
